On April 15th, 2017 the MALE security guard at the door of Rodger's House Tavern in Havre de Grace, MD assaulted my FEMALE friend at approximately 1 a.m. Myself & a few other people witnessed this in the entryway of the bar.She was waiting for me to sing karaoke (which was honestly a pathetic set up & terribly organized, but I was willing to play along and try to have fun). My friend was asked to leave for being "too drunk" as she stood at a table with me. She was not attempting to get any more drinks and was simply standing with me, but the security guard was visibly angry that she had loudly criticized him during the night for his overbearing nature. When things escalated verbally between them, I stepped in & began to guide her out of the bar. As we got to the door & I was now at her side , he rushed her to push her out & then put her into a guillotine choke hold.This caused her to be momentarily unconscious.I grabbed around his arms & screamed to get off of her, but two guys ran over & pushed me aside.
