I own a well respected Electric Guitar boutique, and am honest enough to say that replacing a top on an antique custom classical, was not my specialty. I contacted Tom Harvey and asked his to give me a hand. Once speaking to him, I realized that I was not the one to handle this project, and believe me, I've worked thousands of guitars all my life, so it would be pretty hard to talk me out of doing a job, with some tech talk. I asked tom to handle the job, and to keep my hand in the project, I agreed to refinish it once completed. The workmanship on the guitar was stellar, and his explanation of what he was going to do was carried out to exacting perfection. I would only suggest that you contact him if you have a project of high caliber, I can't see this person spending time replacing plastic nuts on import acoustics.
