Precision Landscaping and Construction

I purchased a home using a 203K Streamline loan. Travis Reyes, a contractor of Precision, and Diana Klein, received a check for over $7,000 to start working on my house on June 17th. After having several problems with Travis, I sent him a termination letter on July 23rd. Travis/Precision created problems that include: demolishing my cast iron bathtub and sink without consent; after which he tried to charge me over $1500 for a replacement cast iron tub (and, he says, the work to go with installing it) because I did not want to use the cheaper, lighter steel tub he was going to provide at “no additional charge”; leaked water into my ceiling; they ran several of my A/C units in rooms where work was not being done; they did not contain their work space leaving dust to travel to all of my bedrooms; left most of the demolition of my bathroom still on my porch and in my yard; left their food and drink trash around my house; used my personal materials such as trash bags; used my kitchen cutlery as a saw and my kitchen chair as a stepping stool; and finally I found out through my bank that the estimate that my bank had on file for this project was a different estimate than what I was given by Travis. The new estimate excluded a project reserve for emergency use and increased most prices for specific work so that the total project would balance. I have not heard from him since July 14th when he was still trying to figure out a way to receive continuous funding from my bank. As far as I can tell, work had been done on my house only 4 days. That work included demolishing my bathroom, installing 2 hand railings in my attic and moving my drying vent from inside, to venting to the outside of my house. I still have not received my key that I asked for in the termination letter nor have I received a reimbursement of the money that they received or for the damage that they did. So I have a house that I am paying for that I cannot live in because I no longer have a full bathroom. I would not recommend using Precision Landscaping & Construction.
