I am a Bank of America account holder, but I went to this PNC branch for the first time today to cash a PNC check that I received for a contracted construction job. I was running late to church so I went there in my sweaty work clothes. The check was a larger amount so as soon as I showed them the check he went to get the manager. That was completely understandable, however when the manager came she asked me for a 2nd identification. I showed her my license and bank card at Bank of America. She said the bank card was not eligible and then she bluntly asked me before anything else "if I was even a U.S citizen." I am Korean American and I have lived here for 16 years doing legitimate construction business. I guess because of my accent and attire she didn't trust me to cash out a large check. (which wasn't even that much...) I was so offended by her stereotyping especially because she bluntly asked me that in front of other customers. The ironic thing is that she seemed of Middle Eastern descent.
