I went into this bank to cash a check issued to me by a person that had an account with M&T Bank. The bank teller told me I would have to pay a ten dollar surcharge to cash the check because 'I didn't have an account with them.'
I was told that they are charging ten dollars because I should have used my bank to complete the transaction.
I have filed a complaint with M&T Bank's corporate offices.
