I grew up in Baltimore, and used to eat here every single weekend when it was owned by the founder, Peter Wood. Thursday - Saturday, this place was packed. Ever since his departure, it hasn't been the same.
The quality of the dough has declined, and the pizzas are often undercooked. Even when you ask for it "very, very well done" you often get something with little to no char on the crust. Additionally, they've started introducing American style pizzas with chicken or ranch sauce on them, which is an insult to Italian cooking. Even if it's just a pizza of the moment... it's not what this restaurant should be about.
The food is still pretty good, but it's just not quite what it used to be.
