I had the same experience this evening as the other customers. The first salesman came by my house saying that they were finished for the day and had to sell the rest of what was on the truck before they headed home - at a deep discount. Before I knew what was happening there were two guys and a box of meat in my house. The steaks were vacuum sealed and looked alright but not great. I said thanks but no thanks and the heavy sales pressure came on: we'll switch the burgers for steaks...I'll throw in another case...guaranteed fresh...return if you want. When the price finally dropped in half I caved. As I was writing the check, the salesman asked that I use his personal name rather than the company name which made me suspicious. As soon as they left, I checked the reviews (should have done that first) and saw that I had obviously been had. I literally bolted out the door with the box of meat and managed to catch them making the same pitch a few houses down. After a tense negotiation, I was able to return the product and get my check back which I cancelled just in case. Based on the other experiences listed here, it looks like I was lucky I managed to undo my mistake. Bottom line: stay away!
