After getting ripped off on my first mattress purchase 3 years ago I was determined to get a quality mattress at a fair price. After a lot of research on mattress underground I started in waldorf then I went into D.C. and looked at non typical brands like goldbond. Then to Annapolis to look at restonic. Even went all the way to Baltimore which turned out to be the best thing ever because on my way back I stumbled apon American Mattress where I met Kevin Lalley who was the most honest genuine person selling mattresses in the DMV. Needless say I've been sleeping great the past few months on my new authentic kingsdown (bigger stores like mattress warehouse/ discounters have theirs custom made with inferior foams/coils and sell them for the same price if not higher) and recommend Kevin and his team to anyone looking for a new bed.
