ACME Medical Supplies Inc

Acme medical supply was chosen by the nursing home to deliver a hospital bed to my house 2 weeks before being discharged. They delivered the bed 5 hours after I was discharged from the nursing home. This is after they promised the bed would be delivered well before I came home. Then the bed was the cheapest model bed I had ever seen it was only 76”long and I am 6’3” tall. Instead of getting me a new bed it took them 2 days to get a bed extension when all they needed to do was get me a 80”long bed. After a year the motor went up and took another 2 days to replace the motor. Then again 14 months later the motor burnt up again this time I called them and they said they don’t have the contract with Medicare to supply beds anymore. I called Medicare and they said it was still acme responsibility to fix the bed or provide me with the company who took over the contract because I wasn’t eligible for a new bed yet. After going round and round with Acme and getting no where I ordered a motor online and had friends put it in. When you call Acme you talk to people that barely speak English and they are rude and not knowledgeable. I would never recommend Acme to anyone and if it let me give 0 stars that’s what they would have gotten.
