I have stayed in A LOT of B&Bs and this one is definitely at the top of the list. We fell upon this by mistake and it was the best last minute decision we've ever made about a place to stay. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with ice cold mint (from the garden) water and fresh cookies to all of the included amenities in our room and the bathroom, this was a perfect historical place to stay. We loved how each room had its own character but still true to its era. The decor was on point and the cleanliness was beyond even my ocd expectations. The gorgeous deep tub was so clean I would have absolutely taken a bath if our schedule had allowed. There was always someone available to speak with if something was needed but we never did have to ask for anything because it was all there. The selection of teas was nice and the cookies were delicious. Breakfast was divine. In today's world of special diets and finicky eaters, this place went out of its way to accommodate each visitor's needs. We had no specific needs as we aren't picky and love to try new things and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we will plan for a longer weekend stay in the future. A slight side note, although not the first time I've encountered it, the breakfast was not actually included in the room rate and I somehow missed that during booking the room online. The price was reasonable and was not at all anything that made me upset. Just caught me off guard a bit. Certainly won't stop us from staying again. We'll just remember to include it in our calculations when booking. We are so grateful to have stumbled upon this gem of a B&B and can't wait for our next visit!!
